The MATRIX AMR Set pairs Structural parts, DC motors, a Motor Controller, and a CANBUS Module with the main controller of your choice — MATRIX R4 or Raspberry Pi. CAN BUS supports up to 4 Motor Controllers in series, each with its own device address — so expanding your system doesn't eat up your main controller's I/O.

Each Motor Controller drives 4 DC motors, 4 encoders, and 2 RC servos — enough to build a mobile base with a gripper or a lift, all within one system.


Unlimited Project Possibilities

With address-based, daisy-chained control, adding more motors doesn't mean running extra wires to your main controller's pins — the system scales smoothly from single-motor control to full multi-motor, multi-mechanism integration.

Three Core Devices, One Complete Control System

MATRIX R4 Controller

The robot's brain. It runs the program and sends control signals to the Motor Controller, which then drives the corresponding motion. R4 connects to the CANBUS transceiver through its D4 port — a port that handles both standard digital signals and CAN Bus communication.


MATRIX CANBUS Module

The signal translator. It converts the digital signal from the R4 controller into a CAN Bus signal and passes it to the Motor Controller. CAN Bus supports daisy-chaining multiple devices, so several Motor Controllers can share one communication line and exchange data reliably.


MATRIX Motor Controller - 12V

Does the actual driving — powering 12V DC motors and servos through 4 DC motor outputs, 4 encoder inputs, and 2 servo outputs. Connected via CAN Bus to the R4 controller and CANBUS Module, it receives commands and executes control in sync with the rest of the system.
