A WRO International Final is a major event where participants from across the globe, who have excelled in their national competitions, compete to be the best in their competition category. This year, for the first time, the Final will be entirely online, meaning that you can watch the whole thing, broadcast from Dortmund, Germany. Almost 220 teams from 66 different countries are taking part, giving you four days of thrilling coverage and a flavour of what to expect when the competitors can once again meet in person in 2022. We sponsor of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), an international robotics competition for young people aged 8-19 – tens of thousands of brilliant minds coming up with brilliant solutions to challenges inspired by real-world problems, using robots that they have built and programmed themselves.

Future Engineers -WRO’s self-driving vehicle challenge, an exciting challenge for high school students following the mega trend of autonomous driving. At WRO, all robots already drive autonomously on a Regular Category field. But driving autonomously in all situations in our daily life is still a challenge. Researchers usually talk about the six levels of autonomation, from no automation to full automation. With the new format, WRO want to bring the current research challenge into schools and teach students an engineering workflow by solving real-world-problems.

World Robot Olympiad Association is a non-profit organization. World Robot Olympiad aims to bring together young people all over the world to develop their creativity and problem solving skills. WRO do that by organizing challenging and educational robotics competitions.
